White is Player 2

Blue is Player 1

Blue to play 55

It looks simple enough. White has moved two checkers off his midpoint and two more from his 6pt. Black has made an anchor, and brought a builder down from his midpoint. Probably neither player has moved more than two or three times.

White does not appear to have rolled 22, so that means that he played the 2s from his 6pt one at a time. If so, then that suggests that Blue split, perhaps with an opening 32S or 43Z, and White hit loose.

Yet, as reasonable as those assumptions appear, I could not find a well-played sequence based on them that gets to this position.

I appreciate your willingness to look this up for me.

Mike
