Here's a more detailed rollout. The obvious difference is that in this position 8/2 doesn't strip the 8 point, and the midpoint is not crying out to be unstacked. Food for thought...
(I haven't learned to hate 8/2 yet, but I will try to cultivate a distaste for it in thee future)
