why is this a double?

I do not really understand well these things yet, but I believe that we should take the skill factor into account for both sides.
My guesses are that:
A) Yellow, as the weaker player, does have a lower take point, but he also has less winning chances than the bot believes. This might make it a double again. No?
B) It looks like yellow feels the need to make an advanced anchor. This means that if brown does not roll a market loser and yellow does not anchor, yellow will probably continue with this game plan and make another error next turn. So if yellow is likely to repeat his mistake next turn, then this means that probably next roll will be a pass for yellow because of a mistake he made.
C) And finally, brown should try and estimate whether yellow knows that he should double early when the score is 2 away 2 away. If yellow passes next turn after a market loser and doubles early next game, the match will be decided on a dmp and brown will not be able to outplay yellow by much there. If brown believes yellow will double early at 2 away 2 away, then he should double now to make sure that this scenario is avoided.
