I got to be the very first person to cash, in the 25th anniversary Nordic Open!

I was the first semi-final looser in the 67 person warm-up on Wedneysday evening, with top-4 being payed :-)

As Kenny wrote in the other thread, being 67 persons in the Wedneysday warm-up sets the bar high for attendance this year.

The 100 persons in the beginner is a great number, compared Y2Y, but honestly I had my hopes for 150-200 there, considering the total proposition being offered! I think it's due to lack of timely marketing that the numbers didn't come up higher - not just from the organizers, but especially on behalf of the federation and all the DBgF members, who should have been more aggressive getting people in there. I see it as a missed opportunity disguised as a success!!

I hope that we'll keep seeing results posted as quickly as on Wed throughout Easter. Also I hope that Steen and the other TDs, will sort out the bandwith problem at the hotel, so all the massive recording will hit ustream (and youtube) fast and in good quality!
