I've read about that too. This morning I spent about an hour reading about all the way dice cheats work..... It's quite a thing. They swap dice in and out as you mentioned, used loaded dice.... And there's even something called variable loaded dice.

Now that's wicked... Variable loaded dice contain a weight immersed in a wax that melts around body temperature. You hold the dice in your hand for a bit until the weight sinks to the face you want coming to rest down on the table and then viola.... No need to swap the dice in and out... But you get the rolls you need. Wild.
