Even if the cube weren't centered, 21/20 gets that checker in much better escape position. We are ahead in the race so trying to maintain contact on the defensive side seems antithematic.

Then there's the cube availability issue and the score. I doubt Stick is going to have a take in any case, but more likely (I think) if he can joker us, e.g. with 2-2. OTOH, would we try and play on? I don't think so. Playing a chump, some might argue that you're more likely to get a bad take after 8/7 + joker. I don't play that game, and at least at the BG board, Stick isn't a chump.

21/20 and cash. (Did 'we' miss a cube earlier? :)
