I'd like to know why you didn't switch anchor to the bar with the first 63. It may to obvious to many, but not to me. Here are my thoughts:

I realize the four point anchor will be a nuisance for longer, and that it prevents you from being closed out. However, a lot of White's winning shots will be at the midpoint, so wouldn't it be nice if they were direct 6-shots rather than lousy 9-shots?

Advancing the anchor no longer covers Blue's five point. IF that were already filled, would you be more inclined to leave the four.

66 is mutually blocked if White makes the bar. Who does this favour? Blue, as the person ahead, wants to race, but White is the one who needs those doubles to catch up in the race.
