When I read posts here about this topic I have only one conclusion that all of you think that BG will become more expanded if there will be more money and more places to play for money. This site in Canada will be place where people can play for money without bot cheating, am I right?
Hm, I am not sure at all, I think that Stick as a excellent player, want to make more money with his skill and it is legitimate. And many others here think same, but why this would be good for BG increase in general?!
Someone here mentioned that BG for money and for free can live together, so why invent something which already exist. There is very good free BG site (FIBS) so come there and play. There is also two FIBS Leagues and players play there.
League for single players: http://fibsleagammon.free.fr/ and team league: http://www.souptree.net/fibs_league/
We have about 150 players for next session in single player league and we had 19 teams with three members in last team league. About 210 players total. It is not small number but there are very few world class players there. Please, consider to come there and play some BG for free. It could be good for BG increase in general.
One more thing: Everybody here talk about European tournaments and how they have more added money involved. Please, can you compare entry fee in USA and Europe for Open divisions. It is three time greater in Europe.
