GNU isn't going to forget to cube. So in most of those situations, you should make the DMP play, or so GNU will tell you. The only exceptions are when at -1, -2 and -2, -1 you become TG. At -2, -2, in order to become TG, you have to first lose your market.

Now, in practice, if you get an opponent who doesn't cube you at -1, -2, then you may want to make the GS play. Of course GNU wouldn't do that. Also, more commonly, at -2, -2, when your opponent doesn't cube you even though he has several market losers, you may want to be more conservative and make sure that he doesn't get to be TG (or more aggressive and get him to lose his market, etc.).

An interesting situation comes up at -2, -4 (or -4, -2). Once the cube is turned, it's GS (or GG). However, sometimes the cube doesn't get turned for awhile, and the leader can turn the cube first. So it's not quite pure GG, and I think this score could be interesting for seeing how the cube action affects plays, and this would likely give a better idea of how to play when ahead or behind in the match than a GS/GG rollout.
