Two legal deuces and only one of those saves the G. :)

If you play 5/2, deuces could be a problem for quite a while. OTOH, after 2/0, 6/5, some fours leave a blot on the 2-point. Could 3/0 be right? Doubtful. Blue will be outboarded if hit, and as White, wouldn't you like this early opportunity to send one back? Another way to think of this: after playing 2/0, 6/5, at worst you'll be leaving this same blot in the future.

2/0, 6/5 just looks better to me, but maybe I'm underestimating the weakness of the open 2-point.
