Anchor and guard position. Suppose we run and get away with it. Still, too much work to do to fill those gaps and bring them home. I think it is better to make the 4pt despite being ahead in the race and having 1 vs 3 checkers back. By doing so, Blue is trying to solve problem of the guard right now, when she has no home board. It is often correct to knock White out the ace when 5X is rolled. Making homeboard points is similar. Even if she rolls an average six, Blue is in good shape.
