Ward is supposed to take care of the low points. Kleinman just converts that to GWC. But it doesn't surprise me that the combination Ward+Kleinman can be wrong here. This might be a good position for EPC, although most of the EPC analysis I've seen are simply for money. It's a lot of work to learn a system like EPC if you want to be thorough, and the fact that no one (that I know of) has converted EPC to GWC is right now an impedement for learning it, IMO.

I think the Keith Count has the equivalent weakness (i.e. giving a GWC for matchplay decision making).
