In Response To: Normalising PR’s in Matches (Rick Janowski)

There are many ways that a player could have easier decisions. A player who had a larger percentage of racing plays for example would have an advantage in getting a low PR. Here http://www.bgonline.org/forums/webbbs_config.pl?read=140246 it is suggested that difficulty of the play be taken into account by counting different plays as being worth different amount of decisions. For example a play in which one number is forced to enter from the bar is worth less decisions than when both numbers can be played differently. He suggests some adjustments to cube decisions also. Maybe the weights would be different but could those ideas possibly handle the adjustments you think should be made?

Another idea is that after a match has reached a DMP or a 1 away score that the resulting decisions then have the 1.5 error multiplier just like DMP does.
