This far behind in the race makes me choose the hit. If one of Blue's two outfield (blot) spares were on the 8-point where the strong 4-prime could be made, I would have a tougher choice. As it is, making the 5- and 9-points (or making the 5-point and splitting -- probably better but I'm not sure) doesn't compensate for getting back in the race, IMO.
