I can post 4th roll problems, too

Sure, you can post them, but can you nactate them? HMMPF!
I'm just mentioning it again as a personal preference. I realize this may have occurred in an actual match and you want to know what the correct play is, but if it didn't, or if you want to simply grasp what the "best money play is", I'd roll it out for money instead of -6 -7. It may or may not matter, but to understand positions unless it's a real match score, I like to take out all the oddball variables that may affect the bot's decisions.
Noteworthy Points of the Position
- The race is even.
- We have an advanced anchor and currently no blots.
- Our opponent has no anchor and two blots.
- Our opponent has made no real offensive improvement giving him a stacked and by definition possible awkward distribution with numbers from the bar.
Given the above criteria we should be looking towards a bold play wouldn't you say? I'd also eliminate a play that pushes a checker to the acepoint from the above information. While I'd also look at 13/10 6/4, the other plays that address my *hit* criteria are:
- 10/7* 10/8
- 13/11 10/7*
- 13/11 6/3*
- 8/3*
From here I'd simply set up the plays, see which one I liked best. Looking now I don't care for the distribution after 8/3* even though it does keep our blot count down and put the 'right checker' on the roof. By putting the checker on the 3pt on the bar we make all of our opponent's sixes sauf 61 play pretty awful.
I'm hesitant to play 10/7* 10/8 because it gives up our 10pt though leaves a nice distribution, only one blot, not too many return shots.
13/11 10/7* is too loose for me. Again giving up our 10pt and then creating as many useful blots as we can. Sure, if it works, super, if it doesn't we aren't crushed, but it seems like an overplay.
Hell.. I really can't pick a play. I'm crossing my fingers hoping a rollout puts 3-4 plays within' .01 of each other, otherwise I'll revisit the problem.
