What makes it confusing is that an analysis will not show up until after you've made your play. And even then it won't show up automatically unless you used the "hint" function on that play or you tell it to analyze that move (under the menu Analyze -- Move, Game, Match, or Session but note that you can have different analysis settings than hint settings). It probably works this way so that you don't get to automatically see what it thinks before you make your play (unless you specifically hit the "hint" button).
