24/8 may lead to a cash (note: White trails 3A-2A).

That is probably the right play at most scores (but not GG). That back checker has got to be dealt with in order to win.

Some other plays worth looking at:

6/2, 8/4*(2), 24/20.

13/5*(2). (For purists.)

8/4*(2), 13/5*. (For greedy purists. :)

But I'll go with the running play, figuring I can cube unless opp rolls 5-5 or 6-6. Then let him/her figure it out.
