Sacrificing Equity

Your opponent is always weaker than you in this scenario as it's not possible they're stronger than you, you're always the stronger player by far with the birdie in your ear.
I didn't think this was what the OP meant. I took it as something like, "you know the mathematical equity of this play". Afterwards, you have to fall back on your own, not-so-smart, brain.
And of course there are ways of mathematically analyzing your question, as Jacobs & Trice did. Surely in match circumstances you must be willing to sacrifice some (theoretical) MWC. For money, there's nothing to be gained by that.
