Sacrificing Equity

To answer the questions in order:

1. When in real life I make a move that I know Snowie may not like, because "it suits my style better", what I really mean is that I understand the follow-up better and so expect to make fewer errors in the future. It also means I think the potential errors I might make, times the probability of the situations arising, exceeds whatever theoretical equity I'm conceding now. But if I have this chimerical "GNU-birdie" whispering the plays to me, that concern is irrelevant and I'd never deviate from the birdie's advice for that reason.

2. As other posters have already noted, with my doubles partner being the GNU-birdie, nobody would be stronger! But I still might alter plays and cubes against opponents I know to be considerably weaker, including people I now consider comparables without the "birdie". For example, I might make a wild hit that's theoretically a little too big, because it will likely stop a cube the equities show should have been coming regardless of my play. For another, I might decide to hold off with the cube when it's theoretically correct, but only by, say, .02. Similarly, on a take/pass call I might drop a cube the bot says is right by only .02 if it's quite gammonish and I don't think the non-expert is going to botch it too badly.

3. I might make a slightly wrong play here and there to prevent my opponent from suspecting my new earrings shaped like wildebeests with wings are actually talking to me >>

And speaking of that...hmm, maybe I should call the director next time someone wants to play wearing headphones or "ear buds"?
