Like Always Micheal got it right :)

A bit more information:

"3-Ply Red" uses only 7 dice for the 1st roll (which one is a trade secret, however 2 of then are doubles) rather than the full 21. I've also some interpolation done based on 1-ply and 2-ply results.

The overall results of "3-ply red" compare to "3-ply" is as follow:

  • Speed : 1.92 faster
  • Overall PR: 0.19 weaker
  • Checker PR: 0.21 weaker
  • Cube PR: 0.06 weaker

The most noticeable point is that the cube PR is very close to a full 3-ply. it makes it very good choice for fast RO settings (like the default 2-ply/3-ply red)
