But at the time of the double the position was significantly better than at the time at which the hit was declined. There were chances of sending 3 more men back and also chances of rolling the prime a long way home and still maintaining chances at hitting a second checker.

For money play I agree with both the double and the later no hit.

I talked with the player and it is not indicated in the video but there was a cap of 6 points on the game. Makes cube faster because the gammons wouldn't then score full value and only he could get gammoned and also less rucube vig for opponent.
