This wasn't meant to single you (or Neil) out. I've seen Neil talk about his own luck (yes, even good :) on occasion.

I wish all matches could be recorded and run through a bot analysis. Then we could talk about the two things (luck and skill) somewhat independently. But I stand by my contention that in general when known good players win they are considered skillful and when many other lesser names win they are considered lucky.

(And I could be reacting to the Phil Hellmouth effect -- "If it weren't for luck I'd win every tournament.")
