I don't know if Bob feels he's as good as Neil. I'm sure at some aspects of the game he is as good and probably some he is better. Overall, though...

When I play OtB I try and block out of my mind who is better. I think it does way more harm than good (for me, anyway). And the old advice "well, if you're the worse player, you should do such and such..." is great advice if you're the better player, because you coerce the worse player into taking his eye off the ball, subconsciously belittling himself, etc.

One of the common ploys of champions is to visualize winning. They claim it helps, and it makes sense to me. IMO, the flipside is also true.
