Lots of plays to choose from (which is typical of doublets). I like 6/3(2) as half the roll. We want homeboard points when we hit Stick's blots.

We're only four pips down in the race so anchoring up has got to be a contender. We could also play 24/18 or 24/21, 8/5.

Note that if we anchor, we still have good coverage of Stick's outfield and if he wants to dump checkers behind us, he's hurting his own chances (particularly racing chances).

What did Mary say yesterday? I (already) forget but whatever it was I think it applies to today's situation. Let's make the nice anchor which is good in multiple ways.
