Unfortunately, there is limited mingling of the European players and the Americans players, as an example. How do you attempt to resolve the relative strengths of tourneys and tourney performance?

It's kind of like arguments over the relatives strengths -- top to bottom -- of college football conferences in the States. Again, as an example (though I may subscribe to it), is the second place team in the Pac-10 or Big-10 as good as the sixth place team in the SEC or the Big-12?
