Given that I just (in the OLM) gave evidence of my cube handling prowess, this one should be easy.

Here I try and think of a classic blitz position and look at the pluses and minuses. So start with something like 5-4 (24/20), 5-5, fan. That (if I remember correctly) is a close double and easy take. Let's call "+" from Blue's pov:

1) Blue's better homeboard points: ++

2) White's made the 10-point: --

3) Blue has 10 in the zone instead of 8: ++

4) Blue has four checkers back instead of 2: -

5) Blue has an anchor: +

6) Blue is only slightly ahead in the race: -

So in this simple comparison, five pluses and four minuses. That makes the double even better and the take tougher.

I'm going with big double and fairly close take.
