haha! Almost. Actually, my best buy was the team of Ed O'Laughlin and John O'Hagan, and they both went undefeated in their first 3 matches and then crashed and burned.

Gary Bauer's field included himself, Rick Todd (former winner of this tournament), and Taki. The only reason I bought this team is because they were near the end and went cheap. I knew that all three were fine players. Taki went very far before being knocked out.

In total, I bought 3 teams in the Open and 3 in the Intermediate.

I usually do extremely well buying teams in the intermediate because I usually have several of my students playing in that division. If you were to go through the list of Intermediate winners in the past few years, many of them wer my students...I can't list them because I don't publicize the names of my students without their permission.
