I just got a new student. Plays the checkers fairly well. Knows all the opening moves. Has a basic understand of the cube...realizes that he needs to win about 1 out of 4 games to take. He plays XG mobile on his ipad and sends the matches to his computer and looks over his mistakes on XG.

He plans on taking lessons from me twice a week during the summer...maybe more. He wants to be ready for his country's (Jamaica) big tournament next year so he can play in the Open Division.

I think he just might be a -4PR player by the time he is 14.

He is 6 years old!

This is the honest to goodness truth...I got this student today. I met his father on a couple of trips to Jamaica and gave his father some tips on getting his kids started.
