That's very interesting. I was unaware of this fact. I don't think I've ever messed with the analysis settings, but I have played around with various rollout settings, and for rollouts, it seems that the search interval can be changed from one Custom Setting to another. I would have probably assumed that the same was true for analysis settings, but evidently I would have been wrong.

Incidentally, do you know if the search interval affects the analysis of cube decisions?
