I would try 11/9 6/5. Making 5 out of 6 points with 11/9 seems better than making the 5pt, and then slotting with 6/5 seems to accomplish more than 24/23. We could get hit, of course, but White's 4's are somewhat duplicated. If we're not hit then 3's and 4's and (best of all) 8's cover the 5pt.
