It does seem foolish not to protect against 2tds, and I agree that BG players make these mistakes often also. I have found that the best way to learn not to watch out for these is to lose a few times because of them. Making the fast play that opens the door to Mr Fuckup and winning anyway will never teach you a lesson of any value. You have to lose them, and realize you lost because of a play that was weak. This is the key part. Dont cry about how unlucky you were, cry because you're an idiot.
