Question Regarding the Interest in Live Recorded Matches

There are two main reasons I would like to see public recording of matches become the norm.
1. It contributes towards the public perception of backgammon as a game of skill rather than a gambling game. There are others, of course, who want to promote the perception of backgammon as a gambling game, because they think that that is a better way to attract fresh blood. But I'm not in their camp.
2. Over time, a database of recorded matches between actual human players is a potential goldmine for those in the future who may want to take backgammon bots to the next level. Two features that I could imagine emerging: (a) bots that can simulate human weaknesses, which would probably be more satisfying for weaker players to play against than the current system of having the bot make bizarre random errors; (b) bots that can exploit human weaknesses by deviating from equilibrium strategy.
