In Response To: Backgammon articles galore (Tom Keith)

I have found this extremely useful already. A newbie came to play and I had the privilege of sitting with her for the match. She was full of questions and I directed her to your resources.

Perhaps we would have more newcomers staying if people were kinder when they ask questions such as, what's that? about the cube when it is turned.

I have found some people take joy in belittling others when they ask innocent questions like that.

Why is that?

I reiterate: If we were more welcoming as a group we would increase our numbers.

It certainly would not hurt.
