I will be happy to help on this. I don't know the rules of brackets and consolations but I have already created some spreadsheets for various types of knockouts and imagine that they can be adapted to the task.

Doing a search of previous posts I see that there is an issue with fair compensation for byes. I think that I already have that solved in one of my spreadsheets in the following way:

Lets assume a 4 player knockout where we only have three players A,B & C all paying $10. The draw might go like this: A plays B and the winner (A) takes forward $20. C has a bye and takes forward $10. In the next round A plays C. If A Wins A gets $30 and if C Wins C gets $20, A gets $10. This can be multiplied up to any number of competitors. I already have it for 8 and 16 players.
