The biggest thing I note is your broken 6pt. Even if you stay and hit a shot you're not assured of saving the gammon. If you had a perfect home board I'd stay, as it stands, without going into Neil's calculations, I run and think it's clear. (I'm not sure what you or Neil mean in this situations when you say 'close', also the possible wins that come from having the perfect board are important)
