Crunched backgame

23 backgame with crunched board and 3 dead checkers makes me want to provoke an exchange of hits. clearing the 9 safely is too passive so I reject it. I consider two possible aces - 5/4 or 8/7. Ideally, I would like to play with 1 blot and have a good inside distribution. Neither candidates achieves that so the question is what is better (or least worst) - 2 blots with good inside distribution or 1 blot with weaker inside distribution.
Because of the White's 3 point board (it is still a board that you fan 25% of the times) and the fact that Blue has 1 dead checker of his own, I believe that playing with two blots is too much.
9/4, 5/4 is my play.
