This is a great position! It admits a lot of variants. For instance, suppose we want to "control" for the issue of how important it is to step up to the edge of the prime. We can anchor the back checkers on the 22pt and now ask whether we should hit.

Another thing we can ask is how important the spare pips are. What if we move White's outfield blot to her 11pt and move one of Blue's outfield blots to his 15pt? Now White's outfield blot give her fewer spare pips; how important is that?

What if Blue doesn't have the option of hitting at all, because White's outfield blot is even further advanced?

Etc., etc., etc.
