Indiana Liquor prices

It's not bootleg/untaxed -- it's the real thing. Indiana apparently has lower taxes than Ohio (and Illinois and Michigan) but it used to be a lot better. For example, Jack Daniel's used to (say 7 years ago) cost less than $15 for 750 ml. Now it's around $22. Kentucky probably has the lowest prices so next time you're visiting your gun-toting Ex, take a swim over the river and stock up.
Another factor is that even hard liquor can be purchased at grocery stores and pharmacies in Indiana. They have better prices than the liquor stores (which aren't state run, just state regulated). About the only thing liquor stores have that others don't is COLD beer.
