What's the big deal? Have you memorized the takepoint at 7-away, 13-away on a recube to 8? If not, could you calculate it OTB?

Even if the initial position is an obvious NoDub, I'd still want to have the opponent's TP in the back of my head.

Now regarding the position he cubed at the end...yes it may turn out to be a technical error...but who cares? He's playing a human being that is much less likely to know the TP for this unusual situation and so an incorrect pass is more likely than usual.

Give the old crow a break.
