In Response To: Backgammon Boot Camp #2-15 (Bringing It Home) (Igor)

My immediate reaction was to play 5/4 5/2 in hopes that White rolls large enough that she can't hang around without breaking her board before I have much risk of blotting. Maybe it is better to simply play 6/5 4/1?

Of course the non hitting plays run a very small risk of losing the race, but I am more afraid of being hit. But no way am I hitting that blot here as it will surely increase White's chance to hit me and win.
