Perhaps Nack had read "Jake Goes Commercial" in the October, 1991 issue of the Chicago Point, or "A Quarky Match Cube" in the Jan-Feb 1995 issue of the same magazine. Or both articles in: A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Four-Point!

I believe the latter is still available from Carol Joy Cole. ;-)
