Cube action

Additionally, if its not a take, and I take it, I am just demonstrating to the world how much of a fish I am. If it is a take and I drop it, I will be teaching the world how to scare me into submission.
If this is entering your mind in the heat of the battle then you are giving away unnecessary equity (in the form of lost concentration). I accept that playing on the stream has the potential for distraction. But this is one of those things you can control. It's surely an easier target for improvement than the typical head scratching cube and checkerplay decisions (like the position you illustrate).
Having bored everyone with that lecture I at least owe you my OtB decision. I'm taking this. Looks like a "cup is half full" situation, at worst. If I can enter in the next two or three rolls (and that assumes he doesn't fire off 55 in the meantime) he's going to have some uncomfortable clearing to do. He needs 45 pips (minimum) to get home. Sure, I may stay one the bar so long that Neil whips around and gets 15 checkers off before I can accomplish 1/15th of that. And then I'll be down -9. -7. If that's the case I'll relish the underdog roll against a (far) superior player (speaking for myself, of course). Afterall, any accomplishment to date has come under those (frequently familiar) conditions. :)
