Not at all sure about this, but what else is new. The biggest problem for our side is that our overly heavy point is well primed. We need to roll some threes and then survive a potential onslaught by Stick to make that point himself. Right now he's short on builders to do that.

We don't have a backgame; we don't even have one of the best points for a backgame; and we probably don't have enough timing for a backgame. So what we really have here is a holding game with the kicker of Stick's two back checkers. Further downside is that we can get G'ed trying to turn this into a win.

On the bright side, all of our checkers are "in play". Is that enough?

Some might take this to see how the game develops, but in Stick's OLM we may not see anything from this except him posting the score as 6-7 on our upcoming opening roll / reply to opening roll position.

Reluctant take.
