some thoughts on rollouts

Opening theory spills over into most parts of the game. I have never understood someone who is either a serious student of the game or as good of a player as you are not knowing the replies. It's so ridiculous to me I feel like I need to use my phone a friend, ring up Falafel, and have him conjure up the right wording. The replies happen essentially every last game you play. Sure, you'll only get half of them but it's not something that you're not going to see time and time and time and time and time and time and time and time and time and time again.
I had one person send me a match where he played very well in the match, I think it was a 2.X. He had given up the equivalent to a blunder in equity on the second roll! Unacceptable soldier! I have no argument that if a play is correct by let's say, less than .010, even in the opening, it's not a big deal but to not know the plays where it's what I'd consider actually a mistake giving up more to considerably more in equity without a good excuse to do so... it makes me vomit in my mouth a little.
