The race is close and blue would not be keen to leave a shot here.I think that flexibility is key here for blue. Playing to the one point takes away a healthy spare...and making the bar point strips all spares. Whites blot is under no threat to move,so he just sits and waits for a winning shot while blue tries to bring this position home. I just play 13-6 which creates two nice spares for blue to play with.This play also creates pick and covers without leaving any return shots if white hangs around.
