3/1*(2) 13/9 . We win tons of gammons and a good number of backgammons with the simple play. 12/8 10/8 3/1* gives white some crashing prospects but it also gives white chances to make a second point in our home board. It also lets white in faster, cutting down on our backgammons. I don't think it is worth it.
