I did some work on a few hydropower and windpower projects in Turkey a few years back. If you didn't visit Turkey yet and get the chance to, take it! Turkey is a beautiful country with a lot of history and nice people, and as you note, they love their backgammon.

I agree with you that the original post could also be taken as a compliment.
