The tournament itself was much better than last year

I suppose for people that were not on this tournament it looked like a step in the wrong direction, but for me the tournament was much better organized than last year.

Basically last year was complete mess, and I only went there this year because my doubles partner convinced me to try to defend the title. I'm really glad I came, because this year it was a completely different experience.

I still think that the doubles and seniors should have a proper draw, though. They may be side events, but they still are the World Championships...
