First, I would play 8/2 6/1. It is easier to clear. It seems unlikely that white will get stuck behind a 4 prime, which is the reason to play 8/3. Then, no double for white. White only hits 56%. White also will win more gammons than blue. A 4 cube kills most of the extra value associated with a gammon in a 5 point match. Best guess--white would have a bare double in a money game.
