Fourth, I need to count twice when considering racing cube. I take one horrible cube racing cube when was 21 pips down in positions when 11 pips difference was borderline take, just because miscount 21 and 11.

Over in the nbgf.no forum, in his Nordic Open report, the fine player Atle von der Fehr presents a 4-cube he took while playing a 7-point jackpot match on Jakob Garal's electronic board. Atle had a not-so-good 5-3 backgame, but a quick glance at the board (or the pc attached to the board) showed that he was also leading in the race by 33 pips! Well, you can hardly pass a cube when you have a backgame and lead the race 109-142, can you?! So he took and won.

Apparently, the beer, not the board, was to blame.
